On November 21, 2023, at the Aula Magna of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) of the University of Catania, a significant seminar was held: “National Tree Day – The Value of Arboreal Heritage and Greenery of Our Territory as a Fundamental Element for the Improvement of Life Quality.” This event marked an important moment for raising awareness and appreciation of urban and rural green spaces.

Institutional greetings opened the event, with contributions from authoritative figures such as Dr. Agr. Aurora Ursino, President of the Order of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors of Catania. Additionally, Simona Consoli, Vice-Director of Di3A at the University of Catania, expressed heartfelt thanks to Professor Giuseppe Cirelli for his involvement in the GIFLUID “Italy-Malta” project.
