On October 23, 2023, at 3:30 pm, in the Meeting Room of the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Environment (Di3A), a technical meeting was held, followed by a guided tour of the green roof located at the Bioscientific Center of Via Santa Sofia. This event was organized for the participants selected for the Green Lab that took place in Malta on October 26 and 27, 2023. Before the start of the activities, the participants and collaborators were welcomed.
During the meeting, Professor Giuseppe Cirelli, assisted by his collaborators, presented the detailed program of the Green Lab and handed out various educational materials to the participants: a manual on hydraulic invariance drafted by CSEI, the brochure of the GIFLUID project, and a detailed plan of the green roof. Additionally, a technical visit to the green roof was organized that day, during which Agronomist Dr. Vincenzo Scavera and Agronomist Dr. Salvatore Barresi provided detailed explanations about the irrigation system, the substrates used, and the plants chosen for the project.
